On 27th November, ASSAR ARCHTECTS inaugurated its branch in Liège : L’ATELIER ARCHITECTS.
Founded in 1988 by Jean-Pierre Reynders and named L’Atelier, L’ATELIER ARCHITECTS is now a member of the ASSAR ARCHITECTS group. This synergy lets the group hone its expertise when it comes to commercial, logistics and leisure projects.
With almost 25 years under its belt in both Belgium and further afield, L’Atelier has grown in the field of architecture as well as urban planning, with careful consideration of the landscape in every project. This approach has meant that L’Atelier has made a name for itself as a firm for whom architecture and urban planning are intertwined, with projects such as the Galeries Saint Lambert, the Standard training centre, Ikea Hognoul, the Château d’Awans nursing and care home and the Essaouira Resort project.
For about 10 years, ASSAR ARCHITECTS has been expanding its areas of expertise by joining forces with other companies. This strategy has not only led to geographical growth, but it has also provided the opportunity to diversify its skills and the sectors in which it works. By taking on L’ATELIER ARCHITECTS, ASSAR ARCHITECTS is now working on a number of different projects, including Ikea in Mons and Arlon, the “Les Bastions” shopping centre in Tournai and the logistics centre for the autonomous port “Trilogiport” in Liège.
