For the redevelopment of the place of justice in Namur, we, with our team, have reflected on the project around 4 major axes:
1. The desire to restore the pedestrian space and the extension of soft users. The creation of the underground car park allows the disappearance of surface parking in favour of a priority place for pedestrians.
2. Provide a real space for rest, exchange and festivities for pedestrians, which is no longer limited to sidewalks but which invades the entire square.
3. The removal of the aerial parking lot and the central alignment of trees will make it possible to clear the space and offer views free of any front-to-facade obstacles. The level layout of the square with a high-quality natural covering will make it possible to homogenize the space.
4. The driveways and exits of the future 5-storey underground car park are located on either side of the square. The surface layout is profiled for the benefit of soft modes by integrating stairs, a PMR ramp and bicycle hoops.
