Het Gouden Anker is a housing project for skippers, which consists of a residential care centre, assisted living flats and a community centre. The project is part of a master plan for the Eilandje neighbourhood, which is currently being developed and was one of the first projects to be completed here.
The building fits into a 50x50m building block and consists of five levels. We created a light and airy courtyard by adding various openings in the façades. This courtyard is a multifunctional meeting place and forms the heart of the building.
Construction of residential care home (90 beds) met service centre and service flats (23)
