Every year, the arrival of summer brings a special moment for all of us at assar: our annual group meeting followed by a festive gathering. This June, the event took place in Brussels, where we had the opportunity to reconnect, reflect on recent achievements, and look ahead to new challenges.
Colleagues from our studios in Brussels, Antwerp, Liège, Paris, & Luxembourg came together to share ongoing projects, innovative approaches, & creative insights — a unique chance to see the breadth of our work & the diversity of perspectives that shape our practice.
This year’s edition had a special twist: we gathered on the newly renovated forecourt of our headquarters — still in progress, but already revealing the transformation to come. A symbol of how our spaces, like our ideas, are constantly evolving.
The day ended with a cheerful summer BBQ, hosted in the garden of our offices, redesigned for the occasion. A relaxed & festive evening — complete with good food, lively conversations, & even some impromptu karaoke — where connections were strengthened beyond the drawing boards.
Moments like these remind us that architecture is not only about buildings — it’s also about people!
