Our project TREURENBERG has recently won a MIPIM award, in the “BEST INNOVATIVE GREEN PROJECT” category.
The jury has been immediately attracted by the combination of the qualities of the project, such as the integration within the historic heart of the city of an energetically innovative office building, the highlighting of the remains of the first Brussels city wall dating from the 14th century, as well as the architecture of a building that is both resolutely contemporary and attractive.
On this Wednesday, February 10th, the New Ikea in Mons opened its doors to the general public in a festive atmosphere. This establishment, designed and developed by L'ATELIER ARCHITECTS, is located on the site ‘Grands Prés’ and covers a surface of almost 35.000 m², including 26.000 m² of commercial surface and more than 4.200 parking spaces. The commercial Ikea park (“Retail Park”), also entrusted to L’ATELIER ARCHITECTS, has a surface of 10.000 m² and is already entirely rented.
Planning permission for the “New Erasme” was filed in November. This is a dual programme. On the one hand, creating nearly 90,000 m² of new infrastructures and, on the other hand, refurbishing part of the existing wings.
The “Domaine des Vallées” was inaugurated on 28 October.
